About NAWL Accessories
NAWL pallet rack accessories are the small parts that keep an installation code-compliant and safe — J-pins and S-pins that lock beams to uprights, base plates that spread column load into the slab, shims that level frames over uneven concrete, wedge anchors that tie frames to the floor, plus column protectors and row spacers that take the forklift hits instead of the structural steel.
Every accessory is sized for the NAWL teardrop system and the standard 2-inch teardrop punch pattern, so it drops in on existing pallet rack runs without retrofit. Pins, shims, and anchors ship in boxed dealer quantities; base plates, column protectors, and row spacers ship individually or in case packs.

Accessories — FAQ
Are pallet rack safety pins required?
Yes — RMI / ANSI MH16.1 and most AHJ inspectors require a safety pin in every beam-to-upright connection on selective pallet rack. NAWL stocks both J-pin and S-pin styles to match the major teardrop systems.
What size base plate do NAWL frames use?
NAWL stocks the 5″ x 8″ base plate that fits the standard NAWL upright footprint. Larger footplates for seismic or heavy-load applications are quoted through the dealer portal.
Do you sell column protectors?
Yes. Bolt-on and floor-mount column protectors are quoted through the dealer portal alongside row spacers, end-of-aisle guards, and other rack-protection hardware.
